7 October 2007 - 9:47Need help for selection lawn care providers?

sona asked:

I live in Minnesota and I am completely new to the lawn care stuff. I have called TruGreen, Scott and some local lawn care providers. Their application process and periods are pretty much same. But, I want to know what are the chemicals that we should avoid to have a good result in future as well as to have a good environment.

5 October 2007 - 2:30Lawn mower won’t start?

Chris asked:

I bought a Troybuilt push mower with a Briggs and Stratton 6.5hp V-Start back in 2005. I was then shipped to Iraq, but my wife back home continued to use the mower regularly. I get back in Oct ‘06, mow the lawn a few times, and then in the middle of cutting the grass one day it dies. I do all the normal checks, thinking it’s probably out of gas. Everything was fine, and I haven’t been able to start the mower since. The only obvious thing I could notice different was the air filter seemed to be soaked in gas. Since then, I have changed the air filter, spark plug, and added some new oil….still no luck. I was about to tear it down and clean it, but maybe there is an easier fix? I don’t believe I am getting a spark from my plug, but I haven’t checked in a dark room to be sure. I heard these newer mowers are really sensitive to dirt and dust, could this be the culprit? It’s a brand new mower, I would really hate to have to replace it.

2 October 2007 - 18:39How should I set up a Lawn Care advertisement?

a asked:

I am trying to take care of lawns for my neighbor hood so I am making an advertisement on Microsoft word. The lawn service would include cutting and weed whacking. What type of things should I put in this ad? What type of things do people want to see?
