Lawn fertiliser is the stuff to make lawns lush and green. They contain a high proportion of nitrogen which promotes leaf growth in all plants.
Liquid mix is safest in dry weather as granules tend to burn the grass unless it rains or is watered in.
Also Lawn Sand is used to control moss in lawns. It is sharp, washed sand mixed with ferrous sulphate. Kills moss and some weeds, but not grass. The sand part helps drainage, as moss likes damp to thrive.
