Lawn mower repair (not engine)?

How much does it cost to fix one of these at a shop, or how easy/cheap would it be to fix it ourselves? is this like a part that would be easily avaliable to joe public?

The mfg costs about 20 to the parts store with makemodel number order the part would go to install the mfg costs about 20 and is readily availableprobably were you bought the mfg costs about.
